A while ago I had a Borla cat-back exhaust installed on my 2015 Silverado 1500. No issue; sounds great. A couple weeks ago I had a cold-air intake installed, and it seems like since then, I notice a vibration/rattling sound when I start to accelerate. It's not all the time, but most times, that I hear it.
If you hear a groaning noise while turning the steering wheel, the problem might be low power steering fluid. An adequate fluid refill will cure the problem. To refill and check the fluid level, locate the reservoir cylinder.
The Lexus dealer said model years 2016 to 2019 on the Lexus RX 350 have a vibration noise when the car starts out, i.e. between 1.3 and 1.9 RPM's. Customers that have owned previous models are complaining about the noise. Lexus fix is to redo the muffler system. It did not help the noise in my car. Took it to my car repair shop to evaluate.

Mar 28, 2012 · I wouldn't say the vibration is violent but you can feel it through the seats and body of the car, don't really feel anything in the steering or handling. Most apparent when coming up to speed on the highway or slight acceleration at highway speeds (>60 mph), engine revving between 2k to 3k rpm. If I let off the gas pedal, the vibration will stop.
